We set out early this morning once we enjoyed a brief breakfast, under Clear Skies – after last night’s early evening rain, lightening and thunder storms!! Our vistas were Gorgeous beyond words – utterly Incredible!! I feel so blessed to be in Switzerland, inserting my small self into this arena of immensity!!!

We rode the highest gondola lift in the world (!!!) to the top of Schilthorn at 10,000 feet with a view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks (which we can also see at a different perspective from our hotel).

We had a group photo and were free for the day!! There’s a Jame’s Bond Museum here given actual filming for Her Majesty!!

Several of us walked out a precipitous point and back, AND THEN, walked along the Walk of Thrills! I didn’t plan to participate, however I ended up joining several compatriots given their commitment and enthusiasm – and it wasn’t so bad!! Of course the views were astounding, and after walking on see-through glass, slim iron clad walkways, a tight rope and a knee-pad worthy tunnel, we ultimately had to Come Back the same way we came!!

I had planned to do the “North Face” hike, yet between the crowds, my route confusion and their unusually sunny and warm day here – I ended up riding the cable cars between several points. stopping to enjoy, watching hand gliders, grocery shopping, people watching, wandering and “laying low” – which is just what today’s prescription presented for me. I Love, LOVE hiking and long distance walking yet truth be told, being here among Glorious Peaks of Majesty – well, I felt a peace in praising God and being still for a change!! How ‘bout them apples!!!!

The natural and awe inspiring beauty here is simply breath taking! Tomorrow we enjoy again!!!
