Here I Go Again!!

Camino de Santiago de Compostela

March 31, 2018

Sooooo!  Here I go Again!!!!  I leave tomorrow for Spain, via two nights in London, to complete another portion of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela!!!!  I feel so fortunate to enjoy my travel adventures and do not like to tout my opportunities, yet feel compelled to make the most of what is presented to me.  And of course, to enjoy the heck out of them to honor my good fortune and in many cases, hard work!  I love Jesus and believe in the Amazing Glory of God and see his handiwork wherever I go, giving Praise all along the way!!

I am also not one to think someone would want to read about my adventures, but my daughter set me up with this blog last year so I guess it is respectful of her to continue.

I plan to create a diary of sorts here, of my 15+ mile day average and the sights I see.  I am also trying to remember the process here before I go abroad but I am struggling…  At any rate, here I post, the eve before I embark to Spain…  I am so looking forward to another Big Adventure!!

  1. Best wishes for a safe but exciting adventure. We look forward to following your virtual path!

    1. Thank you!! I feel like you are with me and I appreciate that!!

    2. Thanks as always for you interest and support!!! The weather forecast is atrocious and we start walking tomorrow! Our hangout day here at our starting point in Oviedo is experiencing a wonderfully warm and gorgeous sunny day today! Supposedly one of three that we will experience. Hopefully the weather forecasters are wrong. We are nestled between the coast and mountains, kind of like at home, and as we know, they are not always right!

    3. I thought I had replied to you twice here-but I am not seeing it… Anyway, I appreciate your continued support and interest. We had a wonderful and sunny warm day here in Oviedo today. We start from this point tomorrow morning and the weather forecast is atrocious! Today was one of three nice days projected for us. Oviedo is nestled between mountains and coast, just like home-so we know that they who forecast are not always correct! I am hoping things will change! If not, well, I’m going to get wet!

  2. I am so excited for you and look forward to reading about your adventures. Stay safe and have fun❤️

    1. Thanks, Deffia!

  3. I still feel rather unorganized. I only finalized the last 5 unaccounted for days in my itinerary yesterday afternoon and just this morning realized I don’t have enough $ in my bank account to pay my credit cards that are due next week so had to send a note to my investment guy! And, I got an email from one hotel who was going to reserve a tour for me that my credit card was denied as well as a fraud alert from that bank – and so I had to deal with that this morning! Soon I can “relax” into the oblivion of my whirlwind of travel!!!

  4. And so your journey begins. So thrilled and excited for you. Looking forward to following your adventure . Enjoy and have fun and above all stay safe. XOXO
